Hi there!

I’m Melissa. I am a Master of Marketing student at Schulich School of Business, passionate about luxury beauty and fashion marketing. My journey in the field began with an internship at a luxury fashion & beauty brand where I contributed to website localization and gained exposure to e-commerce and CRM, igniting my passion for brand strategy.

Beyond my academic and professional experiences, I created My Digital Diary—a space where I blend my ideas with my passion for storytelling and creativity. Through this platform, I aim to explore the intersection of marketing, content creation, and digital innovation, making complex ideas more accessible and engaging.

I was born in Toronto but grew up in Izmir, Turkey before coming back to pursue my Master’s. In a way, I have two homes, and I love them both.

I studied Translation Studies and expanded my knowledge by adding International Relations and Political Science as part of my degree. Through my internships and elective courses, I discovered my passion for marketing—a field where I can blend creativity, strategy, and storytelling.

I’ve always loved to write and read, and now I finally have a space to share my thoughts. My Digital Diary is where I bring together my interests in beauty, fashion, and marketing while sharing glimpses of my everyday life. Alongside my blog, I’m also excited to share snippets of my world through my vlog, diving deeper into the things that inspire me.
